Detroit-area native Jonny Jenks (Walled Lake represent!) has worn many hats. He served as a U.S. Army Sergeant at home and overseas before trading camouflage for stage lights, earning a BFA from Wayne State and an MFA in Directing from Purdue. In between directing plays, operas, and radio dramas, Jonny made the leap to Los Angeles, where he’s produced films, a kids’ show and he’s been a picture editor in TV, racking up multiple Emmy nominations along the way—plus lending his voice to a variety of projects. Off the clock, he married up (his wife Jen is a pro chef), and together they’re raising two amazing daughters.

A Detroit sports die-hard, Jonny bleeds Red Wings red, Tigers orange, and Lions blue—but still tips his cap to the LA Kings and the Washington Capitals.
