With over 30 years behind the mic, Dave Penn is a true radio veteran whose voice and energy have become a familiar presence on the Pittsburgh airwaves. From Top 40 hits to Classic Rock, Classic Hits to CCM, and even Talk Radio, Dave has done it all.
Dave got his start in college radio, where his passion for broadcasting took root. Since then, he’s served as Program Director at multiple stations and hosted several successful morning shows.
Dave lives in Irwin, just outside Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife Kristin. They have 3 daughters, 1 son and 3 grandchildren. Dave’s very proud of all his children, but is especially proud of his youngest daughter, who’s serving her country in the U.S. Navy and training for some serious next-level stuff!
A student of various martial arts, Dave tries to keep up his practice (when he can find the energy!), and he loves unwinding with a good movie or TV series on Amazon Prime or Netflix. Dave recently retired from running his mobile DJ business of 25 years and is proud to say he has DJ’d more than 1,000 events! Most evenings, you can find Dave relaxing in his man-cave, enjoying a fine cigar, a smooth bourbon and jamming on his Jackson Randy Rhodes guitar!
