For nearly 40 years, Alison Krauss & Union Station have been recognized as one of the most influential and acclaimed acts in bluegrass and roots music. Known for a meticulously crafted sound that spans roots, country, rock and pop genres, the group released their highly anticipated album “Arcadia” in 2025, marking their first studio album since 2011’s “Paper Airplane,” a Grammy-winning LP that debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s country, bluegrass and folk charts.

Alison Krauss & Union Station have performed sold-out shows at venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Greek Theatre, Radio City Music Hall and London’s Royal Festival Hall. They also supported Paul Simon during his 2012 “Graceland” reunion concert in Hyde Park, London. The group is currently touring in support of “Arcadia” on the Arcadia 2026 Tour.

The band features Alison Krauss (fiddle, lead vocals), Jerry Douglas (dobro, lap steel, vocals), Ron Block (banjo, guitar, vocals), Barry Bales (bass, vocals), and tenor vocalist Russell Moore (guitar, mandolin, lead vocals). Each member maintains a successful solo career, but together they form a widely respected ensemble. Jerry Douglas, the group’s dobro player, is an Ohio native who grew up in Warren.

Concert tickets purchased in advance include admission to the Ohio State Fair, allowing attendees to experience the fair’s food, rides, entertainment, agriculture, arts and other attractions before the concert. All paid Ohio State Fair concerts are held indoors at the air-conditioned WCOL Celeste Center.
