What happens when Central Jersey’s digital radio station meets one of the biggest gatherings of horror fans, filmmakers, celebrities, and pop-culture enthusiasts in the region? You get an unforgettable weekend at NJ Horror Con and Film Festival!
I had the opportunity to attend NJ Horror Con representing 100 PULSE FM, and the energy was incredible from the moment the doors opened. The turnout was strong all weekend long, with horror fans coming out to meet their favorite celebrities, check out vendors, attend panels, celebrate independent filmmakers, and enjoy everything the convention had to offer.
For me, one of the biggest highlights of the weekend was getting the opportunity to conduct an interview and chit chat with two incredible guests: legendary rock singer and guitarist Lita Ford and acclaimed actor Daniel Roebuck.
Lita Ford, known for her legendary career as a rock musician and her unforgettable hits, was a fantastic interview. It was a great opportunity to talk music, her career, and the connection between rock culture and the horror and pop-culture community.
I also had the chance to interview Daniel Roebuck, an actor whose impressive career has included memorable roles in film and television, including his work in the horror genre. His interview was another highlight of the weekend and gave fans a chance to hear directly from one of the many talented personalities who helped make NJ Horror Con such a special event.
And Lita Ford and Daniel Roebuck were just two of the many recognizable names in attendance. Fans also had the opportunity to meet celebrities including Peter Criss of KISS, along with stars from the horror, television, film, and entertainment worlds. The convention also featured independent filmmakers, vendors, artists, cosplay, panels, photo opportunities, and plenty of unique collectibles for fans to discover.
What really stood out throughout the weekend was the passion of the fans. From longtime horror enthusiasts to families and pop-culture fans, there was a constant buzz throughout the event. People came to NJ Horror Con ready to celebrate the movies, music, characters, and personalities they love.
For 100 PULSE FM, being there was a perfect fit. As Central Jersey’s Heartbeat of the 80s, 90s, 2K & Today, we love being involved in the events, people, and experiences that make our community special. NJ Horror Con brought together so many different aspects of entertainment and pop culture, making it a fantastic event to cover.
I was proud to represent 100 PULSE FM and bring our listeners and followers closer to the action through interviews and coverage from the convention floor.
