Actress Kat Graham played Diana Ross in “Michael”, but you won’t see her in the movie . . . because all her scenes were cut.
Graham says, quote, “Certain legal considerations affected a few scenes, including the ones I filmed with an incredible cast.
“Unfortunately, those moments are no longer part of the final cut, though the team worked hard to preserve as much of the story as possible.” She didn’t say what those legal considerations are.
We already heard that the filmmakers had to write out scenes dealing with the sexual abuse allegation made by then-13-year-old Jordan Chandler.
The word is that they WERE going to address it, but couldn’t because of a clause in the Chandler settlement that barred any depiction or mention of him in a movie.
“Michael” opened Friday, and it’s projected to make $65 million to $70 million over the next three days. That would be a record opening for a music biopic.
