Foghat has announced dates for its upcoming Twang and Bang Tour, which will include a series of shows in Hawaii before heading to Finland and Sweden. The band will also perform in California, Mississippi and Nevada, among other locations.
A complete list of dates, cities and venues is available below. Tickets are on sale at the band’s official website.
Foghat’s current lineup features founding drummer Roger Earl, guitarist Bryan Bassett, singer Scott Holt and bassist Rodney O’Quinn. The band’s most recent release is an expanded 50th anniversary edition of the 1975 album “Fool for the City,” released in September and featuring a previously unreleased concert recording from that era.
“2025 is coming to a close, and what a year it’s been,” the band said in a statement. “We can’t wait to hit the road for the 2026 Twang and Bang Tour. Check out the dates we’ve already lined up, with plenty more on the way.”
Foghat’s latest album is “Sonic Mojo,” released in 2023. The album spent more than 30 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard blues album chart. In 2024, the band released a stand-alone single for Black Friday Record Store Day, dedicated to original lead singer and guitarist “Lonesome” Dave Peverett.
The single, “On Tonsils and Sneakers,” was titled after Peverett’s familiar stage introduction, “… on tonsils and sneakers, I’m ‘Lonesome’ Dave.” The B-side, “Black Days and Blue Nights,” from “Sonic Mojo,” pays tribute to original slide guitarist Rod Price.
Peverett led Foghat from the band’s formation in London in 1971 until its hiatus in 1984, returning from 1993 until his death in 2000 after a diagnosis of kidney cancer. Scott Holt replaced Charlie Huhn, who had followed Peverett, as lead vocalist in 2022.
“Fool for the City” was released on Sept. 15, 1975, and remains Foghat’s only platinum-selling album. It includes the Top 20 hit “Slow Ride” and the title track, a staple of FM radio.
