About Lyle F.

I've always had a passion for broadcasting, even though no one in my family had any experience. But I was determined to pursue my dream.

It all started in high school when I did a two-year technical education course at my local PBS station in Syracuse, New York. There, I learned about different aspects of television, radio, and communications in general. I continued my studies at Onondaga Community College, where I fell in love with radio and television broadcasting even more. Hosting shows on their internet station, Supermix, for two semesters. Shortly after graduating, I landed my dream job with Audilous.

What started as weekends playing classic rock culminated into the number one morning show on the station. Then we got shut down in February, 2024 and I switched over to Hot Hits 95.3 where I'm currently doing mornings and acting as the program director. Then in January, 2025, I get a call to come back to Roadhouse, so here I am! You know, it takes a lot to keep this station not only fresh, but on the air 24/7, and my goal is to keep things running smoothly for you, the listener. There's plenty of ideas cooking for Roadhouse and Hot Hits, so stay tuned.

Let me know what you think of Roadhouse Rock. If you've got questions, suggestions, dedications or requests, feel free to reach out. Also, follow me on social media @LyleIsOnTheRadio to stay up to date on things!
