About Lyle F.
I have always had a passion for broadcasting, even though no one in my family has experience in this field. But I was determined to follow my dreams!
My journey began in high school when I enrolled in a two-year technical education program at my local PBS station in Syracuse, New York. There, I learned about various aspects of television, radio, and communications. I continued my studies at Onondaga Community College, where my love for radio and television broadcasting truly blossomed. I had a fantastic time hosting shows on their internet station, Supermix, for two semesters.
After graduating, I was thrilled to land my dream job with Audilous! What began as weekends playing classic rock music grew into the number one morning show on the station. However, in late February 2024, the rock music came to an end, and I made the exciting switch to Hot Hits 95.3, where I anchored the morning show and took on the role of program director. Then, in January 2025, I received a call asking me to come back to Roadhouse, and here I am!
Running a station that is fresh and on the air 24/7 is no small feat, but my goal is to keep things running smoothly for you, the listener. I have plenty of fun ideas brewing, so stay tuned! It is such an honor to keep you company throughout your day.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Roadhouse Rock. If you have questions, suggestions, dedications, or requests, please feel free to reach out. Also, don’t forget to follow me on social media @LyleIsOnTheRadio to stay up-to-date on all the latest happenings!
