DJ Starr was born in PG County and graduated from Suitland High School in 2000. DJ Starr has been hosting and DJing events in the DMV for over 10 years. Her love story began playing parties and compiling playlists to host her friends for events. Her approach to DJing is to play what the people want to hear; she is the request DJ.  The Party is only jumping if the people on the dance floor are busting a move.  DJ Starr is influenced by creating a safe space through music to connect diverse groups of individuals and help them have a great time.
