Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty confirmed he and Zach Bryan have written and recorded a new song together. Fogerty also announced plans for an “all night revival” on each stop of their upcoming tour.
Fogerty will perform three shows at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Feb. 11, 12 and 13. The joint tour with Bryan begins April 28 in Minneapolis and ends June 2 in Buffalo, New York.
In a video posted online, Fogerty played part of Creedence’s “Lodi” and shared how the collaboration started. “I got together with Zach Bryan and we wrote a song. I went down to his place in Nashville, hung out for a couple days, got to meet his dog Lodi. Lodi ate the lyrics to the song, but I think I remember them,” Fogerty joked.
He added, “We made a record and now we’re going to go out on the road together. That sounds like a whole lot of fun. In fact, it’s going to be an all night revival!”
Tickets go on sale Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. local time. Bryan’s solo tour dates continue through Dec. 18 with other supporting artists.
