A little more than a year after Ozzy Osbourne’s death at age 76, his daughter Kelly Osbourne has opened up about her final conversation with the legendary rocker.
On the We Need to Talk podcast with Paul C. Brunson, Kelly described her father’s last words to her. Three days before he died, Ozzy called her in for a talk. He told her, “Tots, I need you to know something… No matter what happens in this life, you can live the rest of your life knowing that there was one man on this planet that truly loved you, that truly loved you for every single thing you are. And that man is me.”
Kelly said she broke down in tears and pleaded with her dad not to talk that way. Ozzy responded that he knew he would not be around forever, and he wanted her to remember his love, especially during times when she struggled to feel loved by others. Three days later, Ozzy died.
Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025. Kelly, her mother Sharon, and her siblings Aimee and Jack were by his side.
Kelly also shared that her mother Sharon played a key role in making Ozzy’s last wishes possible. Ozzy wanted one final show to thank his fans and say goodbye. Despite doctors urging him not to perform, Sharon made sure it happened. Kelly called the farewell show “one of the most incredible moments in music history.” She said it brought together musicians and fans who felt Ozzy’s influence, giving him a chance to express his gratitude and say farewell.
Ozzy’s health had declined sharply before his death. He battled Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction and struggled with severe pain and mobility issues from injuries he suffered in a 2014 accident. Kelly described his daily life as “insufferable.” Ozzy died from a heart attack.
