Magical Moments ABA to Host Inclusive ‘Back to School Bash Carnival’ for Indianapolis Families

INDIANAPOLIS — As summer winds down, local families are invited to celebrate the upcoming academic year with fun, games, and community resources at the upcoming Back to School Bash Carnival, hosted by Magical Moments ABA Therapy.

Scheduled for Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the free event will take place at 8902 Vincennes Circle in Indianapolis. Designed to be fully inclusive and welcoming to children of all abilities, the carnival features tailored sensory-friendly spaces alongside classic festive attractions.

Highlights & Activities

• Featured Music & Entertainment: Neo Jazz Radio joins as a featured partner, featuring DJ Relly Smackavelli live on the turntables to set the vibe, along with festive purple balloons for the kids and more surprises.

• Free School Supply Giveaway: Families can pick up free school essentials courtesy of a community donation drive.

• Touch-a-Truck Experience: Kids can get up close to vehicles including a police cruiser and a USPS mail truck.

• Sensory-Friendly & Adaptive Zones: Quiet calming spaces, fidget tools, low-stimulation retreat areas, and an adaptive art station hosted by ArtMix ensure every child feels comfortable and supported.

• Games & Attractions: Highlights include carnival games with guaranteed prizes, two bounce houses, a giant bubble station, a “Dino Excavation” ice-breaking activity, and a Marine Corps pull-up bar challenge.

• Community Resource Village: Local organizations—including Easterseals Crossroads, The Indianapolis Public Library, Damar Response Team, Connie’s Clubhouse, and The Sensory Shoppe—will be on site sharing valuable family resources.
