Maryland Democrats Rally at Gala to Prepare for 2026 Elections

Democrats from across Maryland gathered Saturday at Live! Casino at Arundel Mills for the first “Fight Back & Win” Summit and Gala. The Maryland Democratic Party organized the event to rally supporters and start planning for the 2026 midterm elections.

Workshops and panel discussions focused on campaign strategy, voter outreach, fundraising, and building connections with voters in every corner of the state. Candidates and party leaders met face to face, shared ideas, and discussed plans for the next election cycle.

Governor Wes Moore told the crowd to look ahead and focus on the future. He pointed to new investments in childcare, workforce development, and education. Moore also spoke about the quick work to reopen the Port of Baltimore after the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse. Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott shared updates on building stronger neighborhoods through community partnerships.

President Joe Biden thanked party members for their recent victories in Maryland and urged them to keep working.

Before leaving, party leaders told attendees to keep organizing and support candidates in the midterm elections.
