HILLIARD, Ohio — Sloopy’s Pub, often described as “the place to be” by patrons, was selected as a filming location for a scene in an upcoming movie.
The film stars Ethan Cutkosky, known for his role as Carl Gallagher on the television series “Shameless.” Cutkosky also recently appeared as Wayne Gilmore, one of Happy’s sons, in “Happy Gilmore 2.”
Cutkosky posed for photos at Sloopy’s during the shoot.
The bar’s owner said it was fascinating to observe the behind-the-scenes work involved in filmmaking, including the extensive setup, equipment and coordination required. The owner also noted the professionalism and kindness of the cast and crew.
The film is reportedly titled “Night Flirt.”
