Caesars Entertainment, one of the largest casino operators on the Las Vegas Strip, is extending its locals discounts into the new year. Locals can enjoy free self-parking at any of Caesars’ eight Strip properties until February 26. Additionally, Caesars Rewards members are eligible for a 25 percent discount on food and beverages. Both offers are valid Sunday through Thursday with a valid Nevada state ID.
These deals, which have now been extended twice since first launching in September, come in response to declining tourism and a slowdown in visitor numbers over the summer. Many Las Vegas casino operators have introduced similar promotions to attract both tourists and local residents. Parking fees, in particular, are frequently cited as a reason locals avoid Strip and downtown casino properties, making free parking a significant incentive.
