Drake Hosts Holiday Livestreams on Stake With Plans to Share Winnings and Tease Album

Drake is giving back this holiday season. The Toronto rapper hosted the first of three live streams on the gambling platform Stake on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Drake, also known as “The 6 God,” said he hopes to end his gambling year on a positive note. If successful, he plans to give 10 percent of his winnings to a fan selected this week.

“Can we end my roughest gambling year on a good note? I want to max win and share 10 percent of it with you,” Drake wrote in a social media post urging followers to enter the contest via Stake.

Recently, Drake posted a $200,000 betting slip on Jake Paul to defeat Anthony Joshua in a bout over the weekend. The bet was unsuccessful, as Joshua, a former two-time heavyweight champion, knocked out Paul in the sixth round Friday, Dec. 19, at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

On the music front, fans may have to wait until 2026 for Drake’s anticipated album, “Iceman.” During the stream, streamer BenDaDonnn joined Drake and pressed him about the album’s release. Drake dismissed the question, accusing BenDaDonnn of “clip farming”—a term for seeking viral moments.

“Nobody even said that, bro. Nobody said that,” Drake responded.

Before ending the stream, Drake offered an update, saying he and his team are working on the album, but no release date has been confirmed.

“We’re focused. I know what you’re waiting on, so trust me. We’re working,” Drake said.

Drake is scheduled to host two more streams Monday, Dec. 22, and Tuesday, Dec. 23.
