Columbus Brick Convention Brings Lego Fans Interactive Builds and Celebrity Guests in 2026

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Lego enthusiasts will have the chance to build, learn and celebrate at a new brick convention coming to Columbus next year.

The Columbus Brick Convention is scheduled for March 7-8, 2026, at the Ohio Expo Center. The event is organized by Brick Convention, which describes itself as the largest coordinator of Lego gatherings in North America, according to a news release.

Greyson J. Riley, 25, an accomplished Lego creator, leads the event. Riley began taking college classes at age 11, authored a Lego history book at 13 and started organizing Lego fan conventions at 14.

“Lego is so much more than a toy, and the Columbus Brick Convention will show attendees that all of the possibilities with Lego are endless,” Riley said in a statement.

The convention will feature millions of bricks and large-scale Lego models. Highlights include appearances by professional Lego artists, interactive brick pits, live builds, and opportunities for fans to meet Lego celebrities. Unique and life-size models will also be on display.

Other features include:

– Lego Retail: Vendors will offer merchandise, retired sets, new sets and hard-to-find sets.
– Star Wars Zone: Displays featuring creations from the Star Wars universe.
– Castle Build Zone: A space for attendees to build medieval-themed creations.
– MOC (My Own Creation) Gallery: Showcasing original works by local builders.

The convention will run two sessions each day, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $14.99 per session and are expected to sell out. Organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance.

The event supports Creations for Charity, a nonprofit that donates new Lego sets to children worldwide during the holidays. The convention is also a partner of Vet Tix and has donated more than $70,000 in event tickets to veterans and their families.
