A 24-hour doughnut shop that prepares its menu items from scratch is set to open its first Ohio location near Gahanna.
Jeff’s Donuts plans to open at 5717 N. Hamilton Road in the Trouville neighborhood, north of Gahanna, in early 2026, according to the company.
The store will be operated by local franchisees Shelia and Jeff Runke and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“We don’t think Columbus has anything quite like Jeff’s Donuts,” the Runkes said in a news release. “Once you’ve had Jeff’s Donuts, you’ll be back. The quality, the size, the freshness – it’s a difference you can taste, and we can’t wait to share it with our community.”
Jeff’s Donuts first opened in Indiana in 2004 and has since expanded to seven locations, including its original Indiana shop and six stores in Kentucky. The Ohio store will be the company’s first franchised location.
The shop offers more than 40 varieties of freshly made doughnuts daily, including long johns in flavors such as vanilla iced coconut, strawberry cream filled and chocolate. Other options include glazed, jelly-filled doughnuts and fritters. The menu also features the shop’s signature “Honeymooners,” described as an inside-out filled doughnut topped with icing and a dollop of cream cheese or peanut butter.
All doughnuts are priced at $2.50. Pickup, delivery and catering services are available.
