A casino in the 200 block of Rampart Boulevard in Summerlin was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Officers responded just before 10:30 p.m. on November 13 after receiving a report of an armed robbery. While police did not officially name the casino, the Rampart Casino is located at 221 N. Rampart Blvd.
According to the Metro news release, a male suspect entered the property through the parking garage. He was described as wearing a ballistic helmet, blue sunglasses, a black face mask, and a blue and yellow security jacket. The suspect approached the cashier’s cage, brandished an AR-style rifle, and demanded money. After receiving cash from an employee, he exited the casino the same way he entered.
