Tate McRae Announces Deluxe Edition of So Close to What With New Songs Out November 21

Tate McRae’s album “So Close to What,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 following its release in March, is set to be reissued in a deluxe edition. McRae announced Saturday that the expanded version, featuring additional tracks, will be released Nov. 21.

“SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (deluxe) is out November 21. We had a few more songs that I wanted to share with you all to close out the SC2W era. I can’t wait for you to hear,” McRae wrote Saturday on Instagram.

McRae included a link for fans to pre-save or pre-order “So Close to What (The Deluxe Album),” which will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and as a physical release on CD for $11.98 and vinyl for $39.98 through her webstore.

As of Sunday night, McRae had not revealed the number of new tracks or their titles.

Also Sunday, McRae wrapped her Miss Possessive Tour, which began in March and ended at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Saturday. She shared behind-the-scenes photos from the final show.

McRae most recently released the stand-alone single “Tit for Tat” in September, following its debut during her tour. The track, which was not included on the “So Close to What” tracklist, is believed to be inspired by her breakup with fellow pop singer The Kid LAROI. It became her third top five hit on the Hot 100.
