Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade Returns with Flyover and Community Celebration

The annual Las Vegas Veteran’s Day Parade is set for Tuesday morning, beginning at 10 a.m. at 4th Street and Garces Avenue, and concluding at 4th Street and Stewart Avenue. The event kicks off with a scheduled flyover at 10 a.m.

Participants include veterans groups, active duty and reserve units, the Nevada National Guard, first responders, marching bands, dance schools, car clubs, and more. The parade is organized by the Henderson-based Veterans Action Group, whose mission is “to maintain honor and respect for all the sacrifices made for our country by its veterans and their families.”

Road closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to noon, impacting 3rd Street between Charleston Boulevard and Garces Avenue, and 4th Street between Charleston Boulevard and Stewart Avenue.

This parade has been an annual tradition in Las Vegas since 1994, except for 2020, and is billed as the largest Veterans Day parade west of the Mississippi.
