Blueface Released from Prison After Two Years Family Plans Homecoming Celebration

Blueface has been released from prison after serving a two-year sentence.

The rapper confirmed his release by posting a video online, appearing shirtless and stating that he’s “still that ngga two years later.” He also urged his followers to follow his account before he makes his page private.

Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, spoke to TMZ Hip-Hop last month, revealing that she had received his release date but was told by her son not to disclose it. “Don’t be telling my exact date,” he reportedly told her.

She later updated that they were just “days away” from his release and mentioned she had already planned a homecoming party for him, with tickets available for purchase. “I’m going to be picking him up with his kids. His girlfriend got us a limo so you know I’m excited,” she said.

Karlissa also expressed that while there is little she or Blueface’s father, Johnathan Porter Sr., can do beyond offering guidance, they plan to remind him of past experiences and encourage him to make better decisions. “He will have to hold himself fully accountable for his actions, and we will do the same,” she explained.

She concluded by saying that if they notice Blueface associating with negative influences, they will remind him of the consequences and let him decide how to proceed.
