Jimmy Fallon, host of “The Tonight Show,” teased an upcoming appearance by Taylor Swift in a video posted Thursday morning on his and the show’s social media accounts.
In the clip, captioned “Not a lot going on at the moment,” Fallon is seen playing roulette, placing bets on black 10, black 6 and red 25. After spinning the wheel and watching the ball land on black 13, Fallon sighs, “Baby, that’s show business for you.”
The video continues with Fallon walking through the Rockefeller Center offices as a group of showgirls in feathered headdresses and sequined costumes pass by, saying, “Excuse us, honey,” leaving Fallon looking surprised.
Fans quickly speculated that the numbers 10, 6 and 25 referenced a show date of Monday, Oct. 6, aligning with the release of Swift’s upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which is set for release three days earlier on Oct. 3. The number 13 is known to be Swift’s favorite. The presence of showgirls and Fallon’s comment further fueled speculation that Swift would appear on the NBC late-night show.
About three hours after the video was shared, “The Tonight Show” confirmed Swift’s appearance in an Instagram comment: “@taylorswift joins us Monday 10/6/25 to talk The Life of a Showgirl! Tune in at 11:35/10:35c on @nbc!”
Fans responded enthusiastically across social media. One TikTok user wrote, “TAYLOR SWIFT OCTOBER 6TH EXACTLY!” Another commented on Instagram, “I love when Jimmy gets in on the Easter eggs,” while another added, “Yess TAYINTERVIEW is back. It’s been a long time coming @jimmyfallon. Don’t forget to call Andrea up.”
In addition to her appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Swift is scheduled to appear on “The Graham Norton Show” on Oct. 3, the release day of her new album. She will be joined by Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson.
