Ariana Grande has announced a series of tour dates in support of her 2024 album, “Eternal Sunshine,” delighting fans with the news on Thursday, Aug. 28. The pop star shared a tour poster on Instagram, revealing plans to embark on a tour in 2026.
The tour will kick off on June 6 in Oakland, California. Grande, who also stars in “Wicked,” will perform in cities including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, and Montreal, before concluding with five shows at the O2 Arena in London in August.
“See you next year,” Grande wrote in her Instagram caption.
Grande also announced that a presale for the North American shows will begin on Sept. 9, with a presale for the London concerts starting on Sept. 16. Fans, known as “Arianators,” must sign up on Grande’s website by Sept. 7 to participate.
Grande’s last tour was in 2019, during the “Sweetener World Tour,” which concluded in December of that year. She has since expressed reluctance to tour again, telling Variety last year, “I think my fans know that music and being on stage will always be a part of my life. I think the next few years, hopefully we’ll be exploring different forms of art, and I think acting is feeling like home right now.”
However, in July, Grande hinted at a return to music, writing on Instagram, “Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music. It may not look exactly like it did before but I much prefer how it looks in my head… so I’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. Even if it’s just for a little.”
“Eternal Sunshine,” released in March 2024, spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming Grande’s sixth album to top the chart. The album includes two No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100: “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).”
