Steve Miller has cancelled his upcoming tour, including his October show at Planet Hollywood, due to concerns over extreme weather conditions. At 81, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer expressed that the potential risks posed by severe weather, such as extreme heat, flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, and forest fires, were too significant to ignore. The decision affects 20 shows that were scheduled to run from August to November in various cities, including a performance at PH Live in Las Vegas. This cancellation follows other recent disruptions in the music industry due to extreme weather, such as the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee, which was called off because of flooding, and an event in Kentucky where attendees suffered from heat-related illnesses.
