AC/DC Announces 2025 Australian Stadium Tour

AC/DC, the legendary rock band, is set to return to Australia for a five-date stadium tour in November and December 2025. This marks their first national tour in Australia since 2015.

The “Power Up” tour will commence on Nov. 12 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, with subsequent stops in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane. Tickets will be available for purchase through TEG Van Egmond.

Following successful European and North American legs earlier this year, the tour continues the celebration of AC/DC’s 2020 studio album “Power Up,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning 117,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. This release marked AC/DC’s third No. 1 album in the U.S., alongside 2008’s “Black Ice” and 1981’s “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).” It also became their 26th charting album and 10th top 10 on the Billboard 200.

The album also achieved No. 1 positions on the ARIA Albums Chart, Billboard 200, and the Official UK Albums Chart.

Amyl and the Sniffers will join AC/DC as the supporting act for the Australian shows. Frontwoman Amy Taylor expressed her excitement about the opportunity on social media, calling it the “highlight of my literal life.” Reflecting on her connection to AC/DC, she shared that the band had covered AC/DC songs in their early days.

Taylor also shared a throwback video of Amyl and the Sniffers performing “Highway to Hell” during the Perth Festival in 2021, marking the full-circle moment.

The tour is being produced by TEG Van Egmond, who previously managed AC/DC’s record-breaking Black Ice (2009) and Rock or Bust (2015) tours. During their last Australian run, the band sold over 520,000 tickets across 11 shows, including performances in Auckland and Wellington.

AC/DC’s current lineup includes guitarist Angus Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney. Fans can anticipate a career-spanning setlist featuring tracks from all 17 of the band’s studio albums.

As one of only two bands inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the ARIA Hall of Fame, AC/DC’s legacy as one of the most successful and influential bands in history is firmly established.
