Barefoot Country Music Fest Resumes After Weather Delay in Wildwood

The Barefoot Country Music Fest in Wildwood, New Jersey, resumed after a temporary halt due to nearby lightning activity. Organizers confirmed that the festival gates reopened around 9 p.m. The festival had previously issued an alert advising attendees to exit the grounds and seek shelter as a precaution. The event, taking place over four days on the Wildwood beach, features performances by artists such as Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Rascal Flatts, and Jordan Davis. Local businesses are optimistic that the festival will provide a much-needed boost following a slow and rainy start to the summer season at the Jersey Shore.
