Christopher Cohen, a bartender in Summerlin, Las Vegas, faces serious charges after allegedly hiding a camera in the women’s restroom of his workplace, John Cutter tavern. The device, which was discovered by a customer, reportedly captured images of two naked children among other victims. Cohen is charged with two counts related to producing pornography with minors and three counts of capturing illicit images.
The camera was found by a woman dining at the tavern, who noticed a black USB plug containing a SIM card beneath the restroom sink. Upon investigation, police retrieved footage showing a man, identified as Cohen, placing the device in the restroom. Additional footage revealed Cohen in his home kitchen, corroborating his identity through distinct tattoos and physical characteristics.
The restaurant owner, Adam Corrigan, expressed the establishment’s shock and emphasized their commitment to maintaining their reputation, stating that Cohen was immediately terminated following his arrest. Cohen, who initially denied setting up the camera despite admitting ownership of it, was released on a $75,000 bail under conditions that include no contact with minors. He also faces an additional charge concerning possession of a restricted firearm. The case continues to unfold as authorities piece together the extent of the surveillance.
