Antonio Brown Involved in Miami Boxing Event Altercation Amid Robbery Attempt

Former NFL receiver Antonio Brown was involved in an altercation at a boxing event in Miami, where he appeared to be the target of a robbery attempt. The incident, recorded by several bystanders, allegedly involved someone trying to steal Brown’s jewelry, followed by a group attack on him. Brown stated on social media that he was “jumped by multiple individuals” who attempted to steal from him and cause harm.

Although Brown was seen handcuffed by police at the scene, he clarified that he was only detained to provide his account of the events and was not arrested. He mentioned plans to consult his legal team about pressing charges against the attackers. Witnesses claimed that Brown drew a handgun during the confrontation, and gunshots were reportedly heard. Video footage shows Brown kicking a man, later identified as a security guard attempting to protect him.

Despite the chaos, Brown returned to the event, which was promoted by Adin Ross and Brand Risk Promotions. He appeared on Ross’s live stream after the incident but declined to discuss it in detail. Brown later joked about “blacking out” and mentioned CTE, a condition related to his football career.

Brown, a former seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro selection, has not played in the NFL since 2021. He remains a public figure, frequently in the spotlight due to various off-field controversies, with this incident being the latest.
